Approximately 30 square miles and a population of 90,000 are covered by MPFD MPFD contains 7 stations, 7 engines, 1 truck, 1 rescue, 2 reserve engines (see the full list here:  https://www.menlofire.org/apparatus  )   MPFD is notorious for their progressive technology and practices; they are known nationally for their drone program. A Glance At While I love to sit down and interview individuals with a set schedule, sometimes my stories and discoveries are spontaneous and unorganized (aren't we all human?) Introducing, A Glance At , the series of articles on Emergency Radar covering emergency response topics in a more casual and short style.  This series was initiated on December 25th of 2019 by my shadowing experience with the Heavenly Ski Patrol, where I did not plan to shadow or interview anyone until I was offered to on the spot. For winter break, I've headed to the mountains of Lake Tahoe , home of North America's largest alpine lake and stunning scenery. My family and I are passionate skiers; almost every year we have gone down to Tahoe to ski. I wouldn't call myself an advanced skier, but I have experience.
